3DTV advice

Guys ,

Been researching 3dtv for a while now and ive decided to go for the samsung d8000 led 46" one at appx £1500 - 1800 , I like the look of this set and all it's features. But I am not sure if I can justify the price , as my missus is doing her nut about the price of a tv, can anyone suggest a set better than this or give me some assurances that the d8000 is the one to go for , the set needs to be a good all rounder as I will use it for sky hd , ps3 and my media centre for hd content i download in 1080p, my heart was set on the d8000 but my lady has got me thinking now if it's the right choice , I have a budget of 1500,

Any suggestions?

My room Is light , and fairly small so I think a 50" will be too big.

I have looked at most samsung led , just discussed with me lady and really need to drop my budget to a max of 1100, may push it to 1200 , so I now need to rethink , as the d8000 is out of the window

Thanks for the advice guys, never had a plasma before, what are they like gaming wise on xbox and ps3?? Compared to led???

My front room is like a green house, so its very bright, will plasmas be ok??

Went to my local store and had a demonstration on this set LG 47LW650T 47" Full HD LED 3D . Was really impressed with it , and was only 1099 , so I am thinking of taking the plunge on this. Anyone got this set?

Ok so here it is its going to be a toss up between the Panasonic TX-P46GT30B or the LG 47LW
650T 47 both at the same price range, whos gonna be the one to persuade me which on to get??

I have decided , I am going for the gt30 , although I have not seen any deals on it with free glasses or bluray

Well sod this , I've just seen this. LG 50PZ550T 50" Full HD Plasma 3D TV for
£600 , has a saving of £400 and has some free glasses
