I'm increasingly interested in 3g or wireless roaming on the laptop.

However, I am also intending to use skype.

Most of the contract packages limit you to either 1 gig or 3 gigs - can anyone tell me how much data a 30 min skype conversation is, for example?

I suppose another way to word it is if you email, surf and watch some stuff on youtube, will it be less than 3 gig?

Thanks Guys.

This is a very exciting possibility for me, 15 quid a month is so cheap for broadband speeds anywhere (as I live in London) - T-Mobile do an even better one, that gives you acess to all sorts of wireless networks but they don't allow skype which is a shame!

Chances are using your 3g data for skype will be in breach of your contract though. The mobile networks don't like you bypassing their call rates. ;)

Thats certainly what T-Mobile do, but not Vodafone or 3, according to Money Saving Expert?
