3G Iphone problem

Noticed last night that while iam on the phone, the person that iam listening to, their voice is really quite, even with the speaker turned right up. This problem only happened a couple off days ago, and before that it was fine and the speaker volume was just over half way. Anyone know why?

I've had a few odd volume problems with mine, usually with music rather than calls, but a reboot fixed them in all cases.

Ironic that my desktop XP PC at work has been up for 60 days without a reboot, yet my apple device needs one every day or two!

Ok thanks, how do I do a reboot?
 
To reboot all you need to do is hold down the top sleep button for a few seconds then a slider will appear asking if you want to turn the phone off. Then just turn it back on again.
