A colleauge at work has been struggling for ages to get a decent broadband connection where he lives. He has tried pretty much everything and still cant get a reliable connection. We are now thinking that a 3g internet connection would be the way to go.

Are there any decent wireless modem routers out there that will either take a sim card or a usb 3g modem?

Any recommendations for a provider of a 3g internet connections would also be great.
 
I've setup an Edimax 3G router - was a bit of a pain until I got the right APN for 3.

Would do the job, even if the interface is a bit slow and takes an age to save settings.
 
Draytek do, but they are business class (small/med business) so will be more expensive than a home router.
