I've currently got a Huawei E160 3G usb modem on the Vodafone network and was wondering a few things...I have also googled for info..
Is there any way to tweak the modem to connect at quicker speeds? I'm currently connecting at 240kbps (give or take a few kb) but usually only connect at 53kbps.
I had thought about getting a 3G booster aerial which plugs into a CRC9 aerial socket on the modem itself, but are they any good? Are they worth £25 (cheapest I've seen)?
Only reason for the 3G modem is cos I'm in dispute with BT at the moment over the line and they've currently disconnected the landline...
