3Gb -> 4Gb

Running my E2160 on a 356FSB for 3.2Ghz atm

Using 2 1Gb sticks and 2 512mb sticks, cheap 55515 667mhz stuff

Should I upgrade to 4Gb of 800 while it's nice n cheap? Will there be a difference?

Currently on XP, but will try win7 soon

Second that, you'll notice no difference as 32bit o/s cant see 4gb of ram....

get 4 sticks of 2gb... then go 64bit os

Good point. How well do 800 sticks usually clock, my 667 are fine up to about 750?

800mhz ram could get to 810mhz, or up to 1000mhz, luck of the draw.

Get Vista 64 and another gig, might let you overclock higher too.
