3GP??? ME LOST

Hi Guys

My sister just got off holiday and all her videos are in 3gp,

Now whats the best way to get 3gp to avi or mpg ready to convert for a cd or to send to people and also is there anyway of getting better quality?

.3GP is mainly used on mobile phones you didn't say what you recorded it off and you can't really increase the quilty. There are .3gp to avi/mpg converters out there.

You might want to give Zamzar.com a spin.

I use Dr Divx for video conversion, as in the name all the files are converted to divx.

not much point is there? surely these 3gp clips are going to be super-low res and aren't worth converting?

media player classic will of course play the native 3gp files.

Other than taking a decent camera out and recreating the holiday? No. QuickTime Pro will convert those to AVI / MOV / other stuff.
