3GS and e-mail ??

Hello,

I have a Hotmail e-mail account that i check on the hotmail.com web site

I have also added this to my 3GS and it does not work well, if i delete mail from the 3GS it does not auto delete from the hotmail web site. Basicly does not sync the way i wont between the 2, 3GS and web site.

What e-mail account properly syncs with the e-mail on the 3GS ?

Have you configured your phone to delete messages from the server when you delete them from your inbox on the phone?

Go to Settings, Mail/Contacts/Calendars, then select your Hotmail account. Go to Advanced, then under "Delete from Server", try the "When removed from inbox" setting.

Yes I have my 3GS set with them settings.

Not impressed with how the 3gs syncs between web and handset.

Cool will give that a go then.

Main problem is deleting from web site does not remove from phone and does not display the hotmail folders i have created online.

Personally I would recommend Gmail - use it and it works perfectly. Can even get push notifications of new mail if you use an app called GPush from the Iphone app store.

Yeah Gmail works great for me. MS exchange works brilliant too.
