3gs crashing after jailbreak

hi there
i jailbreaked my 3gs with limera1n and now for some reason when i make calls sometimes or in the phone menus, the phone will completely freeze for a minute or two and then just start working again

now the 3gs was a refurbished once that i received a day ago from apple. could it be the actual phone thats faulty or is it the jailbreak?

Well was the phone crashing before you did the jailbreak??...if it didnt then its not the phone but i would restore the phone back to how it was before the jailbreak ie through itunes then re-try the jailbreak and see if that helps.

Also have you restored the new iphone from a previous backup??...that could cause issues so maybe worth wiping the phone completely then jailbreaking it again.

thing is ive never used the iphone before jailbreaking. had a galaxy s before hand and when i started using the iphone i jailbreaked it straightaway
