Hi all,
I am on my third 3GS.
The first the home button stopped working.
The second kept dropping calls but this may of been due to the network, Apple kindly swapped out anyway.
The third was fine but the home button has gone spongy (still works fine). It doesn't "click" like the others and doesn't give any feedback. Feels like a laptop mouse button when the rubber has collapsed underneath.
I look after the phone, it doesn't get very heavy use.
This replacement replacement is covered until the end of December.
Do you think Apple would do anything? I am concerned the home button will fail like on my first 3GS. Do you think Apple will feel I am taking the wee?
