3M command hooks for dipole Speakers (renting)

Hi

Just saw these on the tv and was wondering if they would be suitable for hanging my bxfx on the wall?

The hooks are rated at 3kg and the speakers are 3kg but do have 2 hooks

I really don't want to have to damage the wall.

Is this a bad idea?

I'd be rather scared the first time putting them on those, lol. I'd probably be stood there for about an hour waiting for em to fall.

I'd just use screws then fill the holes in when you move out

Follow the instructions carefully. Wait the hour it says for the adhesive to do its work before loading them with any weight.

Adhesives can do some incredible things. But they're only as good as the surface they're stuck to. If you're fixing it to a flaky old paint surface or some dodgy wall paper.... :eek:

I'd be tempted to do a stress test. Put the hooks up but then hang a carrier bag with some spuds or something in that's going to be okay if it falls. Leave it over night.

Yes I'm nervous thinking about it

I'm not sure what wall type these are, nor do I have a drill!

I will definitely be trying the load idea!
