I have 2 monitors at present and am thinking of getting a third a 226bw for a gaming setup. and have a couple of questions, be for doing it in january. like to think ahead. ( monitor not an issue will be 226bw )

- With the board i have at the present has 2 pci-e slots one runing at x16 and one at x4. is it worth getting a GTX as primer and puting the GTS in the second slot to run the to be gotten third monitor.
- Suplimentry question can you use the second SLI slot as just a graphic card position without the bridge.
or
- Get the matrox 3head and just have one GTX
- and which would be the best for game performance.
