Not too sure why your line attenuation is showing 0dB for the upstream.

Its a known fault with the sky router software.

Either that or there is literally zero loop loss on the upstream element of the line :p:p.

EDIT: the SNR stats are likely to be artificially inflated due to the 40/10 capped profile. Your line is clearly capable of more speed. If OP decided to have 80/20 packet those SNR margins would come down to either 3dB or 6dB.

Well mid week, still got the strange noise on the landline but the actual phone itself is never used so we have disconnected that all thats in the master socket now is the sky sr102. Have not suffered anymore loss of wifi connection or should i say none that i have noticed.

Best bet for a noisy line is to report it as a voice fault with no mention of broadband.

Are you dialing 17070 for the quiet line test option (assuming Sky support it)?

just an update, got the issue with my line repaired apparently i had a non existant message alert making the cop car siren type noise this was sorted by an engineer after some head scratching he finally got it all figured out.
new sky modem/router is a little over 2 weeks in and these are the figures i have now, are they good, bad, or just ok? anything i need to get sorted?

many thanks to everyone who replied on this thread
