Sorry - at 93 I am not as good with things as some years back. I mean my 4/5g connection not BT Wifi. I do understand I can switch WiFi off on the phone but then I have no access to some of my apps and internet.what BT connection of your own? do you just mean your mobile providers 4/5g connection?

turning off wifi on the phone shouldn't affect apps or internet other than they switch over to 4/5g rather than using wifi - you might need to turn mobile data on if some apps stop working.Sorry - at 93 I am not as good with things as some years back. the other option is to go in to the list of wifi connections available and 'forget' the golf club connection - also look at disabling 'automatically connect' if it's enabled for the golf club wifi.
