As title really. Just got this from Cex to replace a missing controller, but I have come home to discover it has no sync button and I have no idea how to sync it.

It also has no wired connections either so I am really confused. My Google Fu has failed me on this one.

The controller is Matt black with no branding at all. Nothing under the battery either to signify a brand.

Any ideas?

Are you sure it's for an xbox:D. I was going to suggest connecting it wired, but can't believe there wouldn't be a wired connection, unless it needs a bespoke dongle?

I am taking it back tomorrow. Wife found it on amazon with the same complaints as myself. Seems that it should just connect.

We actually found the game we wanted to play on MS store for 50p cheaper than the controller for Xbox one.

Returned the controller and they admitted straight away there was ment to be an adaptor. Not expecting them to know each variation of everything they own so no harm done, just a little meh about needing to drive back - but that's me being a grumpy man rather than anything else.
