4:3 Screen Laptops

What on earth happened to these? I can't have widescreen because they are all connected to projectors which project onto a square screen.

I need some preferably with docks to replace some old Dell D510/D520s - I can't find any at all..

Can anybody suggest any laptop models which would be suitable? (Must still be available new)

They died out because widesceens give more viewable space. If it bothers you that much most laptop screens when viewing 4:3 scale the picture size down so it's not stretched. My alienware m17 does it. And so does my sisters dell.

They don't give more viewable space - they give a wider viewing space. It's no good for spreadsheets etc. But we need to run them at 1280x1024 so it all looks stretched on a widescreen laptop.
