4:3 to 16:9

I currently have a Samsung 913n 19in monitor, and am considering moving to a 2253BW 22in. Is this 'much' bigger? The move from 4:3 to 16:9 is making it hard for me to visualise for some reason !

short answer, yes. Fwiw, your ratios are wrong, you are going from 5:4 to 16:10. Height is about the same for these monitors but obv the 22 is much wider.

Aye, wasn't sure if it was :9 or :10.

Don't want to get it here and it not 'seem' much bigger.

when you go back to using a 5:4 (i.e. at work/uni/school, whatever) you'll wonder what happened to the edges.
