Okay been back at stock for past few weeks and got some new ram today

I booted in at 4.2ghz asap

Went for 275mhz fsb what the ram is rated for at 3-4-4-8 @ 2.85v max in bios (need volt meater to adjsut my ram to 3v+)

Vcore was 1.5750v, AGP (chipset) was 1.70v.

She booted to bios, for a mear second, then she died.

Wouldn't boot anymore...set back to 4.2ghz and all is okay

So close for a P4e on water eh and my temps where reading 28c (i got a modded cpu, prob on the die)

It won't go there now!!!

I want 4.4ghz 24/7, can't go 4.3 even...4.2 seams my macx now!!

Good work man, but why was your AGP at 1.7Volts? from my understanding, changing that never benefits overclocks in any way. All it does it put more heat through your graphics card and end up shortening its life.

Uping the AGP Vcore helps het the NB (chipset) stable and allows for more overclocking...OCZ told me it and i found it works

There is a mod you can solder on the Abit IC7-MAX3 to do the shipset one, not too sure about the Asus but OCZ said to up the AGP volts...seams to work. The AGP volt is only the surplie voltage...i havent seen any temps go up at all
