Just been to asda today and noticed all their ales are 4 for a fiver offer which aint too bad i though considering most of the time they cost around £1.50 to near £2 ish. Got 2 brown ales and 2 hobgoblins for tonight.

The whole range of proper ales the whole 5 shelves of em yeah. Yes abbots ale, which i was considering but i just went with what i knew so got nba and hg ones.

Oooo! Sounds interesting, need to send more scouts out as all I came across was Spitfire was a quid a bottle in Sainsburys, shame it was naff.

My local asda seems to have a pretty poor selection of lesser knowns :(
If anyone see's old CRafty hen tho I'd deffo recommend giving it a bash, lovely stuff :)

Morrisons has one of the widest selections (of supermarkets), actually. I think I'll pop over to my local one tomorrow, thanks OP!

Isn't this a standard thing at Morrisons?

Yes, but it's usually a tad more expensive I think.

Tried Harp Lager while I was in the States, at one of the many "Irish Pubs" (about as Irish as my turd after a pint of Guinness). I wasn't impressed.

Not a big seller in Southern Ireland (even though brewed there) yet big seller in N.Ireland :) Hmmm hang on that surely makes it Irish ...

Hope you washed your hands / cleaned your teeth.. same thing ;)

The rant was at the American bars that market themselves as Irish pubs because the owner's great aunty twice removed once went on holiday in Dublin for a week.

I wasn't contending Harp's nationality.
