4 different Q600's, or are they just the same?

Why is this OcUK selling 4 different Q6600's at different prices???

It states that they have different FSB settings, but isn't that up to the settings of your motherboard?

They are the exact same chip. Difference being a premium in price in exchange for a guarantee in overclocking potential.

For example, if you buy a Q6600 guranteed to run at 3.00Ghz and using the "proper" settings will not run stable you can return it for another "lucky dip".

As above..

There is one "OEM" and three "Retail," if you look at the different prices of the "Retail" cpus, you will see that two of them are "guaranteed" to run overclocked to a certain specified speed, ie, the one @£152.74, is "guaranteed" to o/c to at least 3.30GHz...hence the higher price...

Only different between OEM and Retail is that don't get it in a nice box, you can't convince me that that would make a difference in the performance :)
