4 GB of DDR 3 or 8 GB of DDR 2?

(I assume DDR 2 will run on my new MBP) any thoughts?

I have 2GB at the moment and have never seen so many freaking beachballs in my life. (I do not think this is normal...my old MBP was fine with 2gb ram...)

ah, I see your point!

4GB DDR3 is 67£ and 8GB DDR2 is 200+.

DDR 3 it is, I didn't think DDR2 would be so much. THanks for all the help!
