4 gig yes or no?

Basically I want to know if there are any disadvantages of getting 4gig of ram for xp APART from only 3. something is available. Still got to be better than 2 gig. Besides Ill prob end up going vista in a year or so and id ont upgrade my pc often.

Will be on the system in my sig.

Any other forseable problem?

Should I buy?

might as well, i'll be dual booting xp32 and vista64 so i went for 4gig, 4x1gb of geil ULL 6400 only £60 odd for 2gb 3gig for xp32 must be better than "just" 2gb heh but from what i've read vista likes 4gb.

dunno if this rams any good or not but i think ocuk use this stuff in their own ready built pcs so i guess it's good stuff.
