Hello

I'm not really the best when it comes to monitors, so I'll tell you what I'm looking for;
Building a flight simulator, it will have 4 monitors (3 HAVE to be identical).
Need to be DVI since using ATi 6870 (eyefinity).

Prefer resolution to be 1920 x 1080, and no more than £160 each

Anyone got any suggestions?
Cheers
Luke

I haven't fully decided yet. I'd like to run FSX, but the simulator is for military purposes, and most the addons we use are only for FS9. Might run both.

Here's system so far;
i7 950 3.06ghz
6GB Corsair 1600mhz
Sapphire 6780 1GB

It would definitley run FSX on ONE screen, but i'm using three, with a resolution of 5760*1080.. that may hinder the performance, leading me to use FS9 :P

FS9 would be easier run. I had issues trying to use FSX with multiple screens and undocked windows.

I often though 3 screens would be ace but mostly I fly in virtual cockpit mode and it just wouldn't look right spanning 3 screens.

Well, I'm working with RAF Linton-on-ouse, to create a near copy of there simulator at the regional activity centre;

Difference is, they use tripplehead2go (only 22" 1600x1050x3 i believe), and have a core2quad. They seem to run FSX quite well..

Can't really judge now; will have to experiment when it's built!
