4-pin rather than 8-pin 12V CPU power ok for Q6600?

I'm intending to overclock my Dell XPS 7100, but at present the PSU is only a 460W - which is unlikely to be insufficient.

I intend to swap it over for the much better PSU (700W sli SilverStone) in my older custom build (a Q6600 with GTX 260, both clocked @ stock).

My dilemma is that the 460W PSU in the Dell has only a 4-pin 12V CPU power connector.

While this is clearly fine for powering a 95W TDP Phenom II X6 1055T @ stock, I'm unsure if it'll be ok for powering the slightly more power hungry Q6600 105W TDP.

You should be ok with only 4 pin, does the Dell offer any overclocking ability?

Not with the stock motherboard; that's why I've swapped it out for another.

I was somewhat surprised that Windows reactivated fine when using the Dell key stickered on the machine - I didn't even need to do a phone activation!
Though I suppose that might have been because the Dell key had never been used (I had been using the OEM key embedded in the Dell Win7 distribution prior to this).
