Hey all,

Looking for some 4 player couch co-op party games to play when people come over. Have HTPC and 4 x 360 controllers :)

Been through steam and picked up a few but wondering if anyone knows any hidden gems worth getting?

Also, Divinity Original Sin 2. Is this the sort of game you can play with people for an evening or a more traditional RPG which requires putting the hours in?

Cheers :D

Not quite what you're thinking of I bet, but Jackbox packs are usually a good laugh - and you can play with your mobile phones if you wanted.

I assume you already know of Overcooked?

Our group has hammered Overcooked 1 & 2 the last few meets, plus it's too stressful for me once it get's to the later levels and ends up with people almost falling out for dropping an onion :p

These look great! We've played a lot of "That's you!" on PS4 which always descends into people with penis' drawn on their foreheads but the questions were getting a little old, i'll have a look at this tonight cheers :)

A few we play:

Diner bros (like overcooked but a bit more to it)
Pummel party (like mario party)
Lovers in a dangerous space time (doesn’t look like much but actually really fun)
Drawful 2

Yeah we have a great time playing when we have people round - they're usually on offer somewhere or the other!

I'd also look at Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes - good fun.

Downloaded Keep talking and nobody explodes!

Do I need to print out the instructions for the best experience? I don't have VR (Even though i'm tempted to get an Occulus Rift :p) but does this still work well?

Stick Fight: The game
Move or Die
Amazing Frog

All really daft but fun on one screen, I play mostly with my daughter so don't hold it against me lol

Great game, good fun, silly humour and safe for kids to play.

The wife and I used to host game drinking nights, it consisted of finding a game and making a drinking game to fit the play style, most of the people didn't play games or rarely touched one. The best night we ever did was a Drunk Souls night, we launched up Dark Souls and each person had 10 minutes to play, there was about 12 of us. If you died, you drank a shot, if you fell off the map, you drank 2 shots, if you defeated a mini boss, everyone drank a shot and if you defeated a boss, everyone drank 2 shots. Everyone got drunk real fast and the shocker was, a friend of ours, his wife who doesn't play games absolutely destroyed the game, she was shockingly good and ended up downing bosses and actively going after mini bosses... A great laugh. Maybe a consideration?

VR doesn't add anything to the game other than enforcing no cheating.

Another shout for move or die. Great game and deffo had a few (deserved) digs in the ribs over that.

Also:
Rocket League
Any worms game
FORCED
Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara
Castle Crashers

Trapper's Delight is a good one we always play, kind of similar to Ultimate Chicken Horse
Crawl is also brilliant - it's like an old school 8-bit dungeon crawler, one player controls the "hero" and the the monsters are controlled by the other 3 - if you manage to kill the hero, whoever gets the killing blow takes over.
