4 player survival game recommendations (base building/resource collection/etc...)

Got a Saturday 4 player LAN planned, and thought it could be decent to find a First Person co-op survival game we could get invested in for a decent chunk of time.

There seems to be quite a few available, and a lot of them have positive Steam reviews...
Can anyone suggest a game that'd be decent for 4 people to play, either solely on lan or over the internet?
If it was available as a 4 pack on Steam that would also be ideal!

Looking for things like base building, resource collection, crafting, character levelling, etc...

Ark is a good shout(can be PVE or Pvp depending on the server) , or Don't Starve together which is a top down game but definitely not one to dismiss.
 
I was thinking Don't Starve Together, as recently bought it in a sale for myself and a friend. Unsure if others would find it as good as I do!
 
I have pretty much most of the these kind of games, I love exploring a new world with my friends and learning the mechanics, building a base and my be getting into a little pvp with another group when we're a little established on a server.

My personal favourites are
Ark, and Rust. Rust being my personal favourite to play right now because it runs well with a few settings turned down, where as Ark runs like crap

I really want us to go for this, but I think it's a bit too much. We'd spend more time watching Youtube guides... :D

Rust is probably a winner, I think. The Forest looked pretty good too.
