Im finding when running some programs and games my 16gb ram is getting loaded up so im thinking of moving to 32gb is there any known problems with Ryzen 5600 and 4 sticks?

i have this ram and i like to just drop 2 more sticks in if it can

So going by that QVL list, the only kit that can do 32gigs at 3200 MT/s is a Samsung kit which is old and expensive for the speed.
my 3600mhz kit is also not on the list and it can push to 4200mhz @ XMP timings

That just adds an unnecessary cost especially now the platform is dead end.
no why i would go B550 now

i may get a 16gb kit and try if nothing return and get 32gb kit.. after selling what i have the 32gb kit ould only cost the same as a 16gb kit so... i dont know lol

so yer.. i ended up buying another 2 x 8gb as i found it very cheap.
obviously it didnt just boot at XMP.. before i spend a week messing with speeds and timings is there anything people would recommend to try and get XMP going.
Any voltages and so on.

also there is an app called something like memtest but it not the dos one. what it called to test after playing about

4x anything seems to be an under-mentioned issue with memory in general... It never works as advertised :( Best thought is drop the frequency or up whatever voltage is for the memory controller on your particular system.

I have decided to return the 2nd set i got a just buy 2 x 16gb, not matter when i did it failed all tested at any speed passed 3200mhz and at 3200mhz it gave boot loop problems with bios reporting OC problems.
