What motherboards do this? I see the gigabyte UD7 Z68 board does but at nearly £300 its a bit rough. I dont need the x16 lane capability. Just want 4x GPU's in thereI've heard you can get PCI-E x1 to x16 converters, will this work on a motherboard that technically doesnthave 4 gpu sockets?

Thanks in advance

I found another thread, in the right section :/ Sorry

I thought it would be obvious, bitcoin. Going water cool them too when they generate enough £££. Im not saying too much cause a lot of people on here dont get it and are missing the point of bitcoins main focus, To ELIMATE CENTRALIZATION so banks/goverments cant control your lives like they do. People are just seeing free money but trust me, There's plenty to be made, Im raking in 1.5 coins a day from 2x 5870's stock fan. Watercooled on 4 of them ill be hitting 5 coins a day.

And im a recreational person and am all for open markets and free information no matter who deems it right or wrong. WHats right and whats wrong really so the like of silk road gets a thumbs up from me. How it should be is what bitcoins are before centralisation in 1918 :)

Lots of motherboards can do 4 way, an good old example is the Asus P6T7 WS SUPERCOMPUTER Intel X58 but there are cheaper ones.

I wanted stick with sandy bridge then at least ill be able sell the systems when i'm finished for a better price/better features. End of day im making some AND ill have a shed load of blisteringly fast hardware. Nothing wrong with that :)

You know that the energy costs of running 4 GPUs constantly at high load combined with the initial purchase costs of said GPUs, motherboard, and power supply will more than offset any earnings you might make from that ridiculous concept, right? Also, neither the bank nor the government controls my life. And even if we did live in a society where that was the case, I hardly think bitcoin is the start of the revolution. Just throwing it out there.

Obviously you like to be told what to do and what to think. Worse than been pussy whipped :)

Yeah man, don't listen to what BIG GOVERNMENT or FREE MEDIA have to say, you're being controlled.

Hey look at this scam website I found that's making money off idiots, it's totally legit! I believe everything it says, it's totally anti control man!

Trust me, me and the electric company are good friends. I know perfectly how much it costs for electric as at times i use 6000+kw/h. When im over a certain threshold i get discounted electric with BG on my tarriff. but still, Bills are £400 a month give or take.

And you are insane to think that the cost ofelectric offsets that. You relise 4 crossfired make you a serious yearly wage??? I know, i got 2 in crossfire here earning away at 720mhash/sec. Im already enjoying the bennifits of it.

And the value is only going go up with popularity. As long as you get the money invested back (draw it oput when you've made it) whats the problem. If bitcoin did go down, you got some serious hardware, for free haha.

I see so many people missing the point with this and failing at setting it up correctly. Good i say :P
