Mass Effect 2 is one of the best games I've played in the last few years, definatly worth that price

The Mass Effect games are absolutely essential. The first one starts off a bit rocky, but becomes a sheer bag of awesome.

The second one is awesome x AWESOME.

I haven't played the first one but I just picked the second one up now, is the first one really worth it as I already have a back log of games which will take me ages to get round to playing (curse you steam sales

My download manager keeps saying internet connection has been lost and stops even though its fine

Actions you take in the first game directly shape some events in the second, so it's definitely worth playing it first.
