Looking for a TV thats around 40" can be a 43" if thats the standard now.

Budget is circa 400, ill stretch to 450 tops, but in reality although you may wish to upsell me to future proof myself... the fact is I dont watch DVDs or Blu Ray at all. I dont have any 4K channels as Virgin dont carry them atm and I occasionally use my PS4 on the TV.

I just want something thats sort of nice enough, looks nice and albeit wont be top of the range, will do a job under the circumstances.

With that in mind, is this probably as good as it gets for my budget?

LG 40UH630V 40 inch 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV with Ultra Slim Design

Seems to be 429 in most places, so fits in there.

Or this

LG

Its a bit bigger but im assuming worse off as its 349.

Any pointers appreciated.

I think you have misspelled the model of the 43" it should be the same model the "UH630V"

40 @ the font is just the size.

LG make amazing TV's. people on here don't like them for some reason but they have never owned one. I have it's an IPS panel and I even had someone over the other day who recently bought a large decent 4k samsung and he complimented the colour palette of my tv being better. they have glass fronts so you need to control lighting in front of the panel. basically no bright lighting or any lighting ideally in front of the tv. you want lighting behind the tv or at the sides of the room or @ the back of the room. i installed BIAS lighting on mine through USB and just turn the lights off in the room whenever I use my tv to stop reflections on the glass panel.

proof is in the pudding get the 43" LG. I have the model up from that the UH750V
