Time for a mid-life crisis (and a thinly veiled happy birthday thread) methinks.

What can one do? Am thinking of getting a motorbike at the moment but any other ideas to make me feel young again would be greatly appreciated and might amuse me as well!

Become one of those older blokes who out of the blue get into extreme sports and fitness. Someone who before wouldn't walk to the gym but now wants to climb every mountain up there and stops for a pint in your local in too revealing lycra and a towel round the neck

I struggle to relate to this. I'm 38 next month and really don't feel any different to 10 years ago. I constantly forget how old I am.

When I hit 40 I can't imagine needing to do anything to "feel young" I'll still think I'm 30 lol.

Happy Birthday though OP.

:D No lycra, but between 40 and 42 I walked up every 2000'+ peak in the lakes

Get yourself a brand new Alfa Romeo and enjoy the 5 hours of trouble free motoring they typically provide before every major electrical system begins to fail.
