£400-£500 PC Build

My friend is looking to purchase PC parts and has a budget of around £400-£500

The PC WONT be used for gaming, only streaming content from his PS4 to his PC (on YouTube etc) and the occasional surfing the web etc

A capture card and operating system needs to be included into the budget please

Monitor, keyboard and mouse can be excluded.

Im sure someone more experienced will be along shortly, but you can find Windows 10 around for 5-10 pounds if you shop around..

And regarding a capture card, they are not cheap for a good Elgato, so including that WITH pc parts into this build will be extremely difficult I think.

The used/second hand market maybe the way to go.

You don't need a license to legally use Windows 10. So no need to use a key. Just make a media creation tool from the official Microsoft website and use that to make a bootable USB ( or burn a disc if you prefer)

Gumtree can be decent for used machines. Get decent spec for 4-500. Was a ryzen 3600 16gb with an rx580 and 250gb ssd for 400 a couple weeks ago.

Ryzen 3400g, tomahawk motherboard and 8gb ram. Grab a 250sdd and he'll be sorted.
