The PC I built for my poor mother has finally given up, which has convinced her that it's time for a fresh start (that, and I said it would be a ball ache to diagnose and replace what's broken only to be left with a slow PC...).
So, this is really only going to be used for internet and office type stuff. The most difficult media it's likely to handle is some movies. That said, it'll be running windows 7 and I'd like it handle these rather mundane tasks comfortably.
Doesn't need: hard drive, screen, keyboard, mouse, OS...
Does need: well, everything else! Plus a modest case.
I think the budget might be a little generous, so if you think it can be done for a little less that would be great.
