is the motherboad gunna be good to upgrade when nessesary. also is 400w enough because it seems most people get a 700w one. and would you deffinatly choose the tri core over the quad core 955 which is like £40 more? lastly is that cpu good for overclocking as i am relitivly new to it what would be reasonably upgraded to? if i was to do that would i need a new cooler?

The cpu is the black edition which can be overclocked fairly easy. The psu will be perfect for that setup, people choose higher wattage mainly for a future upgrades which they may might or might not do or run multiple gpu's on older cards which are / can be power hungry.

The AMD cooler is reasonably good, if you are overclocking then I would choose a new cooler, but this may take you over budget.

is this motherboad and graphics card able to link up ( use multiple gpu's ) as might want to do that in the future if i get more money. will this setup play games like dragon age origins and new games like that or medium/ high settings?
thanks for all the input

If you get the Asus M4A79XTD Evo you will need a PSU with at least a pair of PCI-E power connectors if you are using a pair of cards like an HD5750 or HD5770.

This is the cheaper PSU on OcUK have a pair of PCI-E power connectors:

the x3 720be can be overclocked upto 3.7ghz on the stock cooler according to this review:

Using ACC the X3 720BE can be potentially unlocked to a quad core.
