a freind wants me to build him a pc that can play etw on medium settings for just £400. im going to give it a go but dont think ill get verry far. what is teh best spec you can think of? thanks

Switch the ram for 1333 @ 7-7-7-24 ram, it will cost around the same - you will gain around 2-3 fps in Crysis as an example, I ran various tests with a few sticks of ram.

Conclusion

For gaming you don't need the best ram for AM3 rigs, in terms of FPS performance, spend the extra cash on a better graphics card etc.

Sorry the price was cut off the bottom because I'm on a 13 " MacBook but the price came to £425.29
