Cant say for sure which will perform better because i havnt seen any benchmarks with 6800k + a ATI 7750 xfire compared to an I3. The better build is probably the I3 build in most cases, because not all games like the APU xfire. However if you eventually overclock, the Intel build wont go far, where as the new Trinitys are incredible clockers considering what they are and will probably edge ahead.[/QUOTE]
 
Thanks for the input MegaHackered. Much appreciated but what could a £500 build get? I was planning on using a build from previous comments but if you could list a better build that would help. Although not sure how much better the £500 build already listed could see any improvement?

obs: i am doing a £400 budget too, and its too hard, and thats is waht they posted in my thread few days ago
 
also could you specify the old computer?
we could take out the hdd or the optical drive for example, or you got already an i3, it could help a bit
also do you need a monitor? os? mouse?
