£400 gaming PC upgrade

I have a PSU, GTX 750Ti GPU, lots of large SATA drives & an ATX case.

I've got £400 ish to spend on a CPU, RAM, MB & SSD (for system plus a few games).

I'm considering:

For an extra 20 quid I'd get the Crucial MX100 256GB over the Samsung. Twice the space.

What CPU cooler will you be using? It may have clearance issues with that very tall ram
