Main uses are storing music and videos.

Also fast burning DVDs is required.

Personally would go for a pre-built Acer with TFT monitor... can get some nice deals, and Acer use standard parts so they're reasonably upgradeable. And from the ones I've seen, they don't have a lot of bloatware - especially in comparison to (dare I say the words) dell computers.
