400 mile trip to OCUK new pc won’t boot

Hey guys
I’m posting here as a cry for help please

Drove from home to ocuk 400 mile round trip to pick up the following items. Spent the last 4 hours building it. Won’t boot.
DRAM light is red on the motherboard and cannot get it to post. Screen blank.

I’ve tried reseating ram. Try individual sticks. Tried every ram slot.
Reseated the cpu. No bent pins.

If it is older stock of the Z690 you might need a BIOS update before it will boot a 13900K.

(In theory you can use Q-Flash USB on some Gigabyte boards to update BIOS without a CPU, etc. but I've not much experience with the Z690 platform).

The above would be my guess too, I believe that board supports flash without supported CPU.

Lucky your motherboard has q flash plus button on it so you can update the bios without another compatable cpu.
