£400 Specs for Video Editing/Processing PC Build Please

Thanks for that Yes It does not include the Monitor, OS etc. Just the Base Unit. A quick question though about the processor although I am a huge AMD Fan, How much gain would an i5 3330 have over this if any?

The i5 is a great CPU, but the AMD A10-5800k has an integrated graphics which is a lot better than the i3/cheap i5 models. Paired with the 2133 RAM, you get great graphics if you decide to play games like BF3, Skyrim, Crysis. You can also add a discrete graphics card if you need to later on, or hybrid xfire a 6670.

I've re-spec'd as I included the wrong ram in the post above:

Thanks Once again, I noticed the Motherboard says maximum of Memory Support: DDR3 1066/1333/1600/1866 SDRAM Would it handle the 2133 of the specified ram though?

If going with that AMD spec, I'd change the motherboard to a A85 chipset one.
The i5 will be better than the Trinity for general performance and video processing (apart from gaming on the integrated graphics).

An FX6300 with a low end graphics card might be a better setup. The FX6300 is only slight behind a lower end Core i5 for video encoding IIRC.

The low end card can be used for OpenCL based accelleration with future builds of HandBrake and Adobe applications. Adobe has already brought OpenCL acceleration for Premiere Pro on the Mac and is working on adding PC support too IIRC.

Thanks all for the Input, I ll persuade him to spend the Extra 50 to go for the i5 setup else AMD it is.

Thanks once again for your time.
