my surrent system is a uATX system with an SG02 case, P45 mobo, E5200 @3.6Ghz and a 4870 512MB. and i game at 1920x1200.

i also have a 1TB drive, 100GB partitioned for OS and the rest for storage.

now do i upgrade to an i5, with a uATx Gigabyte P55M-UD2, 4GB of DDR3, an SG03 case and a corsair H50 cooler (the current case doesnt have a 120mm fan space) OR just get an SSD? what do you think will make the biggest impact, considering that at 1920 on the lowest everything, online on the BC2 beta im clocking in about 30-40 FPS.

i5 gets my vote. Or new graphics card if you're gaming but the 4870's ok, I'm still on an 8800GT and now I feel I need to upgrade.

SSD's are great for system snappiness and load times, but they'll come down in price, not worth the money if you don't have it IMO
