My brothers got a budget of £400 for a new PC. He already has a monitor and other bits, so just needs mobo, cpu, ram, hdd, gfx, case + PSU ie the Tower of Power. He currently plays BF2 so future proofing for BF3 would be useful.
came up with the following, over budget by £1.71, due to going for the 512mb 3850 over the 256mb version, but worth it imho, if u have a dvd drive use the money for a 2180/2200 processor.
The budget is pretty tight and future-proofing is quite difficult but the motherboard supports 45nm CPUs and 1333mhz FSB so this system, with a bit of overclocking should do nicely although ideally you'd probably want a bigger PSU included with the case.
