Hey all,

Currently ive been trying to overclock my 4000+ San diego and managed to get to 2.6ghz. I then went to 12 x 225 to try for 2.7 and everything booted ok but my system seems to think i have a 3.5gig Ram stick in my second slot :( I also can't put the voltage above 1.4v on the Asrock dual sata 2 motherboard, ive seen most 4000+ go beyond FX-57 speeds, even to 3ghz, do you think its my RAM stopping me going further?

Spec :

4000+ SD
Freezer 64 pro
Asrock dual sata 2
1 gig PC2100 (2 x 512mb) no idea who made this. Nanya tech?
450watt PSU, Competitor shops own make.

Looks like its your ram. Its only pc2100 so at stock your ram should run at 133, what divider are you running it on?? If its 1:1 it'll be at 225 which is a fair bit higher!! Really need to get yourself some pc3200 ram.

agree with dale its your ram i am currently at 2.8ghz with mine and temps are 40 idle about 48 load
