4000 series price reductions?

I know this is a tough question to give an exact answer to, but once the new 5000 series cards are announced this month, how much of a drop on 4000 series cards should we be expecting? If we compare it to previous iteration of cards.

I've eager to get a new PC built, my current one is 5 years old, and I'm looking at a 4080 super.

Just not sure whether to hold on for a price reduction, or even just wait for the 5070/5080 which might not be much more?

I'm pretty out of the loop on this stuff!

So maybe I should just go ahead and get a 4080s build on order now then.

Looking forward to a new PC, probably don't want to wait too much longer.

Not even sure when 5080 will be readily available.

We have three days to wait before we know the value proposition and what its effect will be on second hand prices. Just wait a little longer IMO.

Yeah fair enough, I'm mostly looking at buying new though as I want OCUK to build the whole thing for me.
