4000x Vertical Mounting.

Shot in the dark here.... I've ordered the new corsair 4000x and I wanted to mount my GPU virtically but not sure on the clearance to the side panel as I went for the MSI RTX3080 Ventus and from what i can tell its one thick boi! Anyone able to clarify as when I search specs of the case theres no such dimensions for the virtical mount.

From this picture it doesn't look like there much room for a thick gpu

Am maybe wrong but from this picture it looks like it will only take a GPU that 2 slots wide
Picture of a 4000D which i think has the same inside as the X

Yeah thats the picture I've been going off and it wasn't filling me full of confidence. I guess I'll just have to wait for it to arrive but not the end of the world if I've got to mount it normally.

You can see how much wider the space is in something like an evolv x /p600s case is with 3 slots

I have a feeling that GPU would be even to thick for cases with 3 slots as it be very close to the side panel or glass panel..

You can buy vertical mounts that fit the GPU in deeper

Ahh man that looks like a great alternative thanks man I'll defo look into that option ill wait for all my parts to come before I make the decision.
