405bhp Focus RS

Ferraris, Porshes, Skylines , M3s, M5s, and jus about any other raod going car, it is a seriously fast car!

Until you start to modify the Porsche, skylines,M3, M5 etc

He can't spell and makes silly claims imo!

:p

No way did that engine cost anywhere near £20,000

Nicely spec'd engine then goes and ruins it by fitting a unichip :o

Its been up for sale for months on pistonheads, no ones going to pay that for it

405 bhp, front wheel drive??

I remember being told once that the optimum HP for a FWD car in ideal situations is 240bhp.
More than this is highly ineffective.

Was a fair few years ago now, might be higher with new technology, but i doubt its anywhere near 400 bhp :p

is it that it cant put the power down or just done a poor job?

Im guessing that it cant put the power down, but also, he is running stock suspension, as well has fitting a crappy unichip to it. Cars with those sort of mods need a custom live remap to get the best out of them.

Love RS's but its got too much power for FWD

If I had 20k to spend om modding, it would be on a Skyline or something else Jap and 4x4 / RWD

A unichip is very limited in what it can adjust, it just fools the standard ecu into thinking something else.

Standalone management would be much better.

Says GT28 so its likely to be the GT2871R.

Pretty impressive spec I guess the bluefin does most the changes with the unichip to tweak. Don't see too much issue with the stock suspension, it will be better than say a golf with aftermarket stuff.
