4080&4090 cable

sure its a px 1600w and pictured cable is from that box,but one 6+2 pcie is 150w only right? x2 is 300w are you sure its gonna be enogh?
 
while we are on the subject of 4090 cables, will 2 of these do the job?

You need 4 separate 8 pin power cables plugged into the adapters that come with the cards.
afaik you only need 2 of those pictured, because each 1 splits into 2 at the gpu end, giving 4 separate 8 pin connectors that plug into the gpu adapter.
 
But why MSI for 4090 gives adapter with 3xpcie 8pin for the psu while Seasonic has with x2 8pin


It could be a lower power card.
When the 3090s came out. There was the high power ones with 3X8 pin, and lower power ones on 2X8 pin.
The 3X8 pin ones overclocked better.
