Hi all
I have a Pailit gamerock 4080 and I cannot get afterburner to increase the power limit yet I see the internet adding 10% .
I still get 2900 ish boosts with over clock but I think I could get 3k with the power limit jump, any advice?

Never mind, with the new drivers I managed the 110%. 3000+clocks achieved, still under 75 degrees.

I get that, I got my 3080 for £650 and sold it for £700 so the £1300 seemed reasonable and it still does. But those are unicorn events, I know I am among the minority
Not sure how a company putting the price up from £650 to £1300 in one generation seems reasonable especially when the performance is cut down to a 70 class.

In absolute terms, no, it's not reasonable at all to charge £1300 for a 4080. I think the most damaging aspect of this is that it moves the 80 cards firmly in to the territory of "not an affordable upgrade" for most people. For sure, I will not be buying them every two years! I just can not justify that expense. I suppose if NVIDIA want to continue like this (and we don't know they do) then the 80's are now firmly an "enthusiast card" like the 90's always have been. People will still buy them. Just not as many.
