4080 RTX triple power cable

I have a 850 watt PSU but it only had two PCIE ports and the instructions say you need to run 3 separate cables to the GPU.

Anyone advice here or do I need a new PSU ?

You don't have to it's just recomended to do so the PSU doesn't trip due to power spikes.

It should be fine.

I'd give it a go, you do at least have 2 to spread the load.

it all worke fine. Several hours of gaming and it is solid as a rock. Next PSU though might have PICe5

I ran a 4090 on a similar 850W PSU. The 4090 made the PSU squeal a little however everything ran fine.
