42" 720 or 50" 1080 ?

have the option to get a 50" 720p/1080i plasma


size or quality ?

i sit about 10ft back

edit: to confirm they are both very old and just stop gaps until i find some money to buy a new TV next year.

I think get a new TV but that's me . You can get 4K TV's for less than £300 and you'll probably save that on energy bills compared to a 9 year old Plasma!
